Deposit of £500.00 for the Field Trip to Madagascar due by Friday 22nd September 2017. Field Trip dates to be confirmed, but will be 2 weeks between mid-March and mid-April.
An expedition to the forests of central Madagascar. A life-changing opportunity to work in remote forests with internationally recognised experts from the NGO Sadabe. Help them with their research and learn the techniques used in the tropics to study some remarkable plants and animals. Many of these species are endemic to Madagascar and found nowhere else in world.
The total cost of the expedition for this year will be confirmed soon, but will be in the region of £2000. This includes cost of your visa, food, all transport from UWE and accommodation. Additional costs include personal first aid kit, personal camping equipment (e.g. sleeping bag, head torch) and the cost of any inoculations. A non-returnable deposit of £500 should be paid by Friday 22nd September 2017 this will be followed by an interim payment due in January 2018 and remaining balance to be paid in March 2018.
