Detailed Description
Aim:
We aim to understand how the challenges for the justice system and how it can let down children and young people; to consider how we can improve the experiences of children and young people; and to promote practitioner understanding and confidence.
Objectives:
We will contextualise the issues with a mock trial, hear about the lived experiences of children and young people, share thoughts about current practices and innovations, and agree actions.

Cost:
UWE is making a significant financial contribution towards the cost of this event and is not profiting from it. Private sector delegates are being asked to pay a fee of £50 plus VAT per person to cover costs. There is no fee for public sector delegates and third sector delegates, as explained below.
