Our 10-week Skills Bootcamp will provide an in-depth knowledge of the state of the art in green infrastructure policy and practice, using case studies, tools and evidence from the UK and internationally. These include the key terms and concepts associated with green infrastructure, ecosystem services, urban ecology, nature-based solutions and natural capital; the functions and benefits provided by green infrastructure; planning and design of green infrastructure at different spatial scales and for different functions including climate resilience, nature recovery, health and wellbeing, and delivery and long-term maintenance and monitoring. 

The topics are aligned with current national and West of England priorities for increasing access to nature, climate resilience and nature recovery, as well as tackling health inequalities and delivering future-proof new homes.

The 10-week Skills Bootcamp delivers a comprehensive and employer-led programme that is aligned with the latest industry demands and mapped to RARPA and SFIA for quality assurance by targeting priority skills gaps in AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Industrial IoT, Digital Twins, Smart Factory Systems (MES/ERP), Cybersecurity, and Agile Project Management.

These modules were specifically selected based on employer feedback and regional skills demand data. 

Our Skills Bootcamp will provide SMEs with the opportunity to expose and upskill their existing workforce to BIM technology.

They will experience the full design process from 3D design to prototype fabrication, exploring the use of suitable materials and how AR/VR technology allows the stakeholders from across the project to collaboratively create detailed 3D visualisations before any construction or manufacturing takes place.
