Detailed Description
An expedition to the forests of central Madagascar. A life-changing opportunity to work in remote forests with internationally recognised experts from the NGO Sadabe. Help them with their research and learn the techniques used in the tropics to study the remarkable plants and animals that live there. Many of these species are endemic to Madagascar and found nowhere else in world.
The total cost of the expedition for this year will be £2300. This includes cost of your visa, food, all transport from UWE and accommodation. Additional costs include personal first aid kit, personal camping equipment (e.g., sleeping bag, head torch) and the cost of any inoculations.
- A non-refundable deposit of £800 should be paid by 9 am Monday 24th November 2025
- This will be followed by an interim payment of £750 due in early February 2026
- and remaining balance of £750 to be paid in March 2026 BEFORE we leave
