Decolonisation: Selves, Research Methods, Topics

Friday, 9th October

10:00-16:30

UWE Frenchay Campus / Bristol Business School / Room 2X242

This one-day conference brings together academics and an artist to explore what decolonisation means in higher education, research, and professional practice. Through talks and discussion, speakers will examine decolonising identities, research methods, teaching, learning, psychotherapy, and knowledge production, drawing on perspectives from Cyprus, Greece, and Chile. The event concludes with an artist's perspective and the launch of a South West consortium of social scientists committed to advancing decolonising practices across disciplines.
