Course Description

This two-day workshop is aimed at students, beginners, hobbyists and 
printmakers wanting to expand their practice.
This hands-on short course introduces the beautiful process of photopolymer gravure, where photography meets traditional printmaking. Across two sessions, participants will learn how to transform autographic, digital or photographic images into richly tonal, hand-pulled prints using light-sensitive polymer plates and an etching press. From preparing images and making plates, to inking, wiping, and printing, this course provides all the skills needed to fully understand and explore gravure printing

This will be a physical course, delivered in person at W Block on Frenchay Campus, University of the West of England.
